This portable seat could come in handy for many occasions. It seems sturdy enough, and is touted as being able to hold up to 265 pounds. I would venture to say that 220 pounds is a more accurate estimate.
The pouch that holds it is small enough to add to a backpack or hang it on the side of it. (Great to use for hiking.)
Be sure to check out the configuration of the legs before pulling it out of the pouch to assemble. I didn't do that, and found myself with an IQ test to get it back in there. LOL! Luckily, it didn't take too long to figure it out.
Keep in mind that this seat is very low, so if you have knee issues, it might be hard to raise yourself up from it.
This would be a great staple for the trunk of your car so that you'll always have it with you. It's great for kids to use, to be able to take a break, for those times when you need to stand and wait for any length of time.
PROS:
I am impressed with the materials and construction of this product -- it's rugged and reliable.
Lightweight and highly compact -- I love being able to throw the strap over my shoulder when carrying my other gear, and it doesn't weigh me down or take up much space on my person.
No loose stitching, fabric is durable and easily hand-washable.
This kind of outdoor gear deserves a strong zipper and it got one -- this may seem like a small detail for some, but I find it worth mentioning. If the zipper busts, the major convenience factor of this product immediately goes away -- I'm thankful that isn't something I have to worry about.
I'm 6 feet tall, 190 lbs, and this mighty little stool supports me, no problems!

This is absolutely the best money I have ever spent. I walked up to the peak of Mount Washburn in Yellowstone Park and took this with me. It is super light and small easy to carry. Everytime I needed a break set it down and I could have a very comfortable place to sit. Several people asked about it and commented on how smart we were to have them. Love this item!!!
I bought four of these little seats for my kids to bring along while hiking, picnicking and fishing. I needed them to be light weight so that each child (ages 12, 9, 5,2) could carry them by themselves and save my hands and arms for other things and they do great. I hook the carry bag onto my two year old's backpack and he carries it just fine. The chairs are super easy to take in and out of the carry bags as well which makes them all the better. They are close to the ground-perfect for all of them and they seem sturdy as my two year old needs to climb onto them. Although of course, the chair falls over while he climbs, it doesn't collapse. Perfect for our outings!
Happy with my purchase. I took these to an amusement park, since my grandkids complain about waiting in line so long and they get tired. These were small and easy to carry in my backpack and got great use out of them. Great buy and value!
